Dr. Rebecca Sobin graduated with her Master's of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College (SWAC) in Santa Fe, New Mexico and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in Portland, Oregon, where she was a member of the faculty and a clinic supervisor. Rebecca continues as a faculty research mentor in the Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) program at OCOM. She has also completed Cornell University's online certificate course in plant-based nutrition, having incorporated research-based plant nutrition into both teaching and practice.
 
Rebecca's specialties include women's health (peri-menopausal & menopausal symptoms, menstrual cycle regulation, etc.), fatigue, anxiety and emotional disorders, acute and chronic pain (including accident, injury and post-surgical pain, migraine headaches, stress/tension headaches), digestive disorders, immune system support (for those who easily catch colds and flu, during cancer therapies, autoimmune disorders) and many more conditions treated with the Asian medical complex.
Rebecca had previously worked in private practice in Bozeman and with the Integrative Medical Clinic in Great Falls, Montana and as an Academic Dean at Han University of Traditional Medicine in Tucson, Arizona, before retuning to private practice in Missoula, Montana. She has a diverse background which includes study in traditional Chinese medicine, Japanese acupuncture, Chinese and western herbal medicine and plant energetics, homeopathy, research on AI/NA (American Indian, Native Alaskan) healthcare, sustainability practices in community and is a published author of articles on Chinese medicine and poetry.
As an educator and clinician, Rebecca is highly interested in the future of Asian medicine and its role in integrative medicine. She is currently accepting new patients of all ages.

Tonia Janzen is a licensed and board certified acupuncturist. She graduated from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine with a master's degree in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. During her time at school Tonia studied with teachers of many different modalities, including classical and Japanese techniques. Tonia also had the incredible opportunity to add on a term of study in China with several well known Chinese medicine doctors in hospitals in Nan Jing.
Tonia enjoys assisting patients in meeting their health goals. In addition to treating pain and musculoskeletal conditions, she also treats digestive complaints, headaches, menstrual irregularities, fatigue, allergies, tobacco addiction and can help to ease the side effects from cancer treatment.

Heather Ellsworth is a licensed and board-certified acupuncturist, herbalist and oriental medical practitioner in Missoula MT. Heather was inspired by her mother, a nurse-midwife, at an early age and has been interested in medicine and women's health ever since.
She graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in Biology with a Botany emphasis. Then continued her studies in western herbalism with Michael Moore at the Southwest School of Botanical Medicine and became a Certified Clinical Herbalist in 2003.
In 2009 she graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine with a masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, she is also a Board certified Chinese herbalist.
After finishing her studies at OCOM she completed a year and a half post-graduate training in Portland, OR with Dr. Hong Jin DAOM, M.D.(P.R.C.) specializing in women's health, infertility, and pregnancy support. Along with seeing a variety of health conditions in her private practice she also co-created “Mama Group Acupuncture” which provided group acupuncture specifically for fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum women at the Alma Midwifery Education and Movement Center, in Portland.
 
She moved home to Missoula, MT with her family in 2012 and opened Mountain Sage Acupuncture, and is excited to join the team at the Acupuncture Clinic of Missoula in 2016.
Heather brings to her patients a sense of comfort and understanding. Through a process of careful listening and gentle touch she will come to a diagnosis of your unique condition and find an individualized solution to bring you back to wellness.
