At the Acupuncture Clinic of Missoula we use Eastern medicine to alleviate a wide variety of conditions.
We begin with a thorough diagnosis, spending a generous amount of time building a complete picture of your health and lifestyle, so we can treat the underlying causes of your symptoms. Your first visit can last from 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Your subsequent visits will be about 1 hour long, during which we briefly review your progress and follow with an acupuncture treatment. The exact duration of treatment depends on condition, your basic earth level, and how quickly you respond to acupuncture.
We may also prescribe an herbal formula. Herbs are nearly always prescribed in a balanced formula with herbs that have supporting effects. Thousands of years of use and research have shown that this is the most effective method.
Acupuncture treatments are typically once a week. If the condition is acute, treatments may be 2-3 times per week until the condition is under control.
